Syfy announced that the remaining episodes of the Battlestar Galactica prequel Caprica are being removed from the plan next week. The final five episodes of season 2 will be rescheduled to air in early 2011.
Set before the first Cylon wars — and 58 years before the events of Battlestar Galactica — Caprica follows Daniel Graystone (Eric Stolz) and Joseph Adama (Esai Morales) through the creation of the robotic Cylons, who would later revolt against their masters for their enslavement.
Unfortunately, despite its obvious quality, Caprica has not been able to build the viewers necessary to justify a second season.
Battlestar Galactica pulled in 889,000 viewers in Season 2 premiere and has been decreasing since.
The cancellation comes less than a week after Syfy declared the development of Battlestar Galactica prequel. Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome focus a young William Adama fresh out of the academy — and in the 10th year of the first Cylon war.

Zach Galifianakis and Jack Black have signed on to appear in Disney's Muppets movie.

Besides Galifianakis and Black, Billy Crystal, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Oscar winner Alan Arkin have also been tapped to join leading man Jason Segel, who also co-wrote the script with Nicolas Stoller.

Jack Black will play a kidnap victim, Galifianakis a hobo and Arkin a tour guide. No word on Crystal's charactor in Disney's Muppets movie.

Donald Glover, Amy Adams, Danny Trejo, Chris Cooper and Rashida Jones were previously cast in the film.

The Vampire Diaries Jenna won't discover vampires

The Vampire Diaries executive producer Julie Plec has claimed that Jenna will keep unaware of the supernatural creatures in Mystic Falls.
In the first season finale of The Vampire Diaries, Jeremy drank blood and took pills in Jenna's house while John Gilbert was killed by Katherine downstairs.
However, Julie Plec told that Jenna (Sara Canning) won't have been in the house while those events were happening.
"We will know in the first episode of The Vampire Diaries that she was actually out speaking with the fire marshal," she said. "Katherine actually lured Jenna out of the house before all the craziness took place."
The second season of The Vampire Diaries starts on September 9.

Will Bones be dealing with a Jersey Shore-type situation this year?
The executive producers of the Fox series hope to cast Jersey Shore's Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino in a role for an episode slated to air in October.
"We're trying to get The Situation to play a murder victim," executive producer Hart Hanson told. "A guido is killed and Booth and Brennan enter that world to find out what happens. We're unsure if it'll happen or not. Talks are continuing."
The Situation is filming season 3 of Jersey Shore in Seaside Heights, N.J., where co-star Snooki was recently arrested.

What did you think of tonight's episode of Gossip Girl, "The Empire Strikes Jack"?
I thought it was an outstanding show tonight! For the past couple weeks, I have been wishing for nothing but bad things to happen to little J, but then when it all started happening, I wanted it to stop. Rufus was very smart to get her back into fashion in order to get her mind off things, good parenting Rufus! I was actually hoping for Jenny have a successful show so she could go back to work with Eleanor (which I hope still happens). What those girls were planning was basically rape - how messed up is that? Thank god Nate was there to save the day! Here's to hoping that J turns things around from here on out.
I thought it was a little awkward that Serena was giving advice to Vanessa about dating. How can you get in a rut when you've only been dating 2 episodes? Plus, noodles and movies sounds like fun to me. I'm glad Dan and Vanessa got on the same page in the end. I can see these two together for a long time (which in Gossip Girl world means at least through the end of this season).
Let's talk about Blair for a minute. My favorite Blair moment from tonight's show was when she exclaimed "Prostitutes are people too, and they have a lot of disposable income", she was like a modern day Melanie Hamilton with that statement. My other fav Blair quote of the night was "I have minions of course, but they are hardly worth even naming". I was laughing so hard when Derota was running around trying to find her friends. I hope things work out for her with this new Columbia crowd. It was also touching to see her receive some good perspective on things from Eleanor. Hang in there Blair!

When a Japanese journalist follows Brennan (Emily Deschanel) around for a story on her new book, her questions — like ours — are more concerned with matters of the heart than the sternum. This interests Booth (David Boreanaz), who wants to know how his partner could have possibly penned the novel's steamy sex scenes. The mystery (a blind writer shot by blue bullets) is typical but pretty irrelevant: It's the live people here, not the dead ones, who keep you watching.

LOST "The Package" Review

What did you think of tonight's episode of LOST, "The Package"? Well, we all knew it was going to be hard to beat last week's episode featuring Richard Alpert, so I couldn't help but be a little bit bored with "The Package". I did like having a full episode devoted to Sun and Jin (who are two of my favorite characters). I was hoping that they would find each other tonight, but it looks like next week they might. What did you think of their alternate reality? I was so upset when Sun got shot. I hope her and the baby are okay! They are two people that seem to be doing much better in the island reality. Maybe they will both be keepers of the island? How sweet was it when Jin got to see pictures of his daughter!?
I'm very interested in Sayid. It's scary that he is now devoid of all feelings. Do you think he'll ever be able to get them back? Sayid was such a good character, I hate to see him turn evil. The show is turning all myfavorite characters (Claire, Locke, Sayid) into lunatics and turning my least favorite character (Ben) into a good guy, what the heck?
Widmore also seems to have good intentions, however, I don't completely trust him. He had a interesting choice of words when he was describing what would happen if the evil smoke monster that is dressed up like Locke got to the real world. He said everyone we know and love would "cease to be". What is your take on that? To me it meant that they wouldn't just be killed they would be erased from all existence. Heavy stuff.
Also, what in gods name happened to poor Desmond? I can't believe the show ended with that and now I have a million questions. What do you guys think is going on? I've been missing Desmond and Penny this season but I would've liked to have seen Desmond under better circumstances.

Hitched centers on a couple that gets — you guessed it — hitched, but realize all too soon they don't really know each other. The series also stars Jack Carpenter, Eugene Levy, Kurtwood Smith and Sharon Lawrence.

South Park Creators Head to Broadway

The duo behind South Park are heading to Broadway.
South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone will debut their musical comedy, The Book of Mormon, in March 2011, The Associated Press reports.
The pair have teamed with Avenue Q creator Robert Lopez to create the music and lyrics. Parker and Jason Moore, Avenue Q's director, will helm the show. Avenue Q won several 2004 Tonys, including best musical.
In the 1998 film Orgazmo, Parker played a young Mormon who becomes a porn star.

'Housewives', 'V' finale dates set by ABC

ABC has announced the season finale dates for shows including Desperate Housewives and V.
Housewives will wrap its sixth season Sunday, May 16 in its usual 9pm slot, and will be followed at 10pm by the season four finale of Brothers & Sisters.
Monday, May 17 marks the end of Castle's second run, while V and Grey's Anatomy will conclude their respective first and sixth seasons on May 18 and May 20.
FlashForward's freshman season comes to an end May 27, and May 13 marks the end of the third run of Private Practice.
As previously announced, the series finale of Lost will take place Sunday, May 23.

Boreanaz: 'Bones quality is important'

David Boreanaz has revealed that he never thought about Bones reaching its 100th episode.
The actor, who plays FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth in the series, told Sky that he tried to focus more on the quality of the show.
"We're into our fifth season now and from the pilot episode, which I loved, I haven't ever thought about getting to 100 episodes," he said.
"I've taken it one episode at a time and we've all worked as hard as we can to make it better each time. I don't look at the numbers, I just look at the work and the quality of it and the different relationships between the characters."
Boreanaz added that he can't choose his favorite episode of Bones, saying: "There are so many. I really like the 100th episode and I'm really excited for people to see it. And I really love the pilot."
He also insisted that Bones will never copy Fringe and produce a musical episode.
"That's never going to happen," he said. "It would be really horrible and thankfully [creator] Hart [Hanson] doesn't like musicals. The Fringe guys are welcome to do as much singing and dancing as they like."

Szadkowski: 'Gossip Girl is a blessing'

Gossip Girl star Zuzanna Szadkowski has admitted that she feels lucky to have a role on the show.
The actress, who plays Blair Waldorf's maid Dorota, told People that she is thrilled her character has developed so much.
"I'm the luckiest person in the world," she said. "It's been a huge blessing and it's very exciting and fun to be part of the show."
Szadkowski also revealed that she models her accent on her parents' speech and that she is inspired by her character.
"She's very compassionate and very devoted," she explained. "Sometimes I find myself a little bit disheartened or complaining in my own life and Dorota would really make the most of the moment so I try to be positive like her. I really look up to her."

The extended edition, which aired between 8pm and 10pm, failed to improve the show's ratings, dipping below last week's performance of 8.3m.
Over on NBC, Chuck and Trauma logged 5.8m and 5.03m at 8pm and 9pm, then 4.7m tuned in for a rerun of Law & Order during the 10pm hour.
The latest episode of Dancing With The Stars took 20.9m for ABC between 8pm and 10pm, then Castle put in 12.3m at 10pm.
Life Unexpected and Gossip Girl took 1.8m and 1.7m for The CW at 8pm and 9pm respectively.
CBS's rerun of The Big Bang Theory grabbed 10.8m at 8pm, before a new Rules of Engagement took 10.2m at 8.30pm. Its college basketball coverage averaged 21.8m across the 9pm to 11pm period.

Madchen Amick Aims to Give CSI: NY's Mac a New Dimension

For CSI: NY's Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise), work comes first. So why is his love life getting so much attention lately?
"For six seasons you didn't get to follow Mac home," Madchen Amick, who plays Mac's latest love interest, Dr. Aubrey Hunter, tells TVGuide.com. "[The writers] really wanted to explore that and give another dimension to Mac. They felt like fans are ready to see Mac outside of work life."
However, Amick says, Mac and Aubrey hit it off because they're so focused on their work. "They have this immediate attraction, and they probably recognize within each other without really knowing that they're both very career-driven," she says. "Mac's always so busy with his cases and never has time in personal relationships that Aubrey ends up being something really refreshing to him."
Aubrey's career? Before becoming an emergency-room doctor in New York, she served two tours as a medic in Afghanistan. "She's very driven, but also very passionate about serving people," the 39-year-old Amick says. "That's the reason she's serving in the Reserves and working as an emergency room doctor as opposed to being some physician with a practice sitting back making money."

The above Brilliant Trek: The Next Generation casting affiliate will play Dr Isaac Parrish on the series.

Wheaton wrote about the account on his official blog today.

The 44-year-old actor plans to leave the CBS series at end of the season, People reports.

"Charlie's deal is only through this current season," Sheen's rep, Stan Rosenfield, told People, offering no elaboration on Sheen's future with the sitcom.
CBS would not comment on the report.
It's unknown how or if the series would come back if Sheen were to exit. (One and a Half Men, anybody?)
Charlie Sheen returns to work
Two and a Half Men, in its seventh season, is broadcast TV's top-rated prime-time comedy and racked up three Emmy nominations last year (including a win for co-star Jon Cryer). However, the last four months have been rocky for Sheen following his Christmas Day arrest on charges of domestic violence after an argument with wife Brooke Mueller.
Production on the series halted for three weeks in February when Sheen entered rehab as a "preventative measure." He returned to work on March 16.
Sheen pleaded not guilty to the charges and is expected back in court July 21.
Calls and e-mails to Rosenfield were not immediately returned.

Nestor Carbonell (Richard Alpert) did an outstanding job in Ab Aeterno; maybe one of the best performances I've seen on Lost. I loved the scene where Hurley helps Richard communicate with Isabella (his dead wife). It reminded me of the movie Ghost (but in this case Hurley was Whoopi Goldberg, Richard was Demi Moore and Isabella was Patrick Swayze)...both scenes made me shed a tear. All joking aside, I now have a new found respect for Richard. That guy has had a rough time. I can totally understand why he wanted to kill himself and also why he was ready to go over to Evil Locke's side.

I also enjoyed Titus Welliver's performance as the "Man In Black". He plays the part exactly how I imagine a powerful evil force: calm, cool, and with a beard. I almost prefer him over Evil Locke. So now that we finally have a better idea of what's going on, what happens next? An epic good versus evil battle? When will the new Jacob be chosen? Who will it be? What role will Charles Widmore play? Who will end up on which side?

What did you think of tonight's episode of LOST "Ab Aeterno" (translation: From The Beginning of Time)? This was my favorite episode of Lost ever! For starters we got some key answers and pieces of information:

BONES 100th Episode Review "The Parts in the Sum of the Whole"

I had the opportunity to watch the first two episodes of the second half of season five of BONES episodes, "The Bones on a Blue Line" (airing April 1st 2010) and "The Parts in the Sum of the Whole." While "The Bones on a Blue Line" was enjoyable, I am going to skip reviewing it and go straight for "The Parts in the Sum of the Whole" which constitutes the 100th episode of the show.

Now, usually, the 100th episode of a TV show is celebrated with some really cool guest star or a cool storyline that makes for some good promos; rarely do we get to have an episode that changes a show in the most fundamental way. "The Parts in the Sum of the Whole" is one of those episodes that will stand out as being a rare gems that changes the show forever.

In "The Parts in the Sum of the Whole", Bones and Booth go to see Sweets who has just finished his book and concluded that the pair is in love and destined to be with each other. While they disagree with his interpretation, they are actually there to correct him on something else. It turns out that the first time that Bones and Booth worked together was not during the pilot episode but in fact it happened a year earlier. This news frazzles Sweets who then urges them to tell him the whole story to which they oblige. We are then treated to a flashback episode.

During this story telling, we find out a great deal of things about not only B&B (Bones and Booth - yes I am calling them that) but also about the whole crew at the lab as well. It turns out that the first time B&B met, there was some real chemistry there. That chemistry even lead to some intense moments (and when i say "intense", I mean "OMG I can't believe I just saw that" intense). We also get to see how Angela and Brennan started becoming friends. We also get to see Hodgins and Zach before they became best buds. Finally, we see Cam, who oddly enough was pretty much the same person that she is right now.

The most important thing that we find out comes not during the flashback but right after when Bones and Booth leave Sweets office. Bones and Booth have one of the most meaningful moment that they have ever had during the show, which leads to some deep and emotional truths being revealed. This climaxes to what can be only described as the most heart-wrenching emotional moment that I have ever experienced on TV (OK I might be exaggerating a bit but screw it, it felt like it at the time). After this, I believe it is safe to say that nothing will ever be the same again.

I realize that I am cryptic about a lot of this but it's because I don't want to ruin this for you. While I am still deeply shaken by what I saw, I am excited to have experienced the unique moments that this episode delivered. Every Bones fan deserves to experience them as well because I think that the 100th episode will be known as the episode that changed everything.

If you have something else to do Thursday April 8 at 8 pm, cancel those plans and tune in to watch the 100th episode of Bones "The Parts in the Sum of the Whole". In the meantime, I suggest you watch the pilot episode (which you can find below) so that you can refresh your memory.

The Office: Season 6 Episode 15 'Sabre' Review

This was actually a good comeback from the last episode dealing with clips. It's almost as if they took some time to make a good come back, and it was an enjoyable 'The Office', with the bonus of development plots.

It's good that Jim and Pam are searching for the right daycare for their child, it shows proactive behavior on their part and it actually opens us up as an audience to embrace a new member to the cast of 'The Office'. How would that turn out though, can anyone think it up; my guess is constant visits from Michael and some kind of protective wear for the child. Definitely no 'bring your child to the office' days. I think I am in agreement with Jim when it came to walking in on the guy in the bathroom. I mean come on, what if a child wanted to go to the bathroom, even during story-time! I believed he was being biased by showing his embarrassment during the interview. I wonder if they got the place? Definitely wouldn't want your child walking in on that scene.

Again, what's up with Ryan's glasses, has anyone noticed them. Ever since he made his pact with Dwight, he has actually taken on this new persona. It's almost creepy that no one has pointed it out there. I guess Jim is too busy making plans to notice.

Overall a good episode, good use of characters for little scenes, and what's up with Sabre and the mean boss and David Wallace's lazy mentality. His wife was being a bit curious as to what her husband was doing in the jacuzzi with another man (definitely strange), but boy does his son know how to rock a drum,was it him playing?

Charlie Sheen rep denies 'Men' cuts

A representative for Charlie Sheen has dismissed claims that episodes of the new season of Two and a Half Men have been axed to accommodate his recent stay in rehab.

The actor, who has a history of substance problems, was admitted into a recovery facility last month as a "preventative measure" following his Christmas Day affray with wife Brooke Mueller.

Reports yesterday suggested that producers had since been forced to halt filming of the CBS sitcom while Sheen received treatment, scrapping two episodes from the 24-show season due to his absence.

However, Sheen's rep Stan Rosenfield has insisted that the star was only ever contracted to appear in 22 shows and that there were never any agreements to feature in "bonus" episodes.

He told the Daily Express: "Nothing was cancelled. The other two were called bonus episodes, none contractual."

Katherine Heigl has close call with wardrobe malfunction

"I am done," Katherine Heigl tells Entertainment Weekly. "We just finalized our agreement. Everyone had been working really hard to find an amicable and gracious way of letting go and moving on. It's sad but it's what I wanted."

Heigl says it wasn't her film career that prompted her departure. Instead, she says she approached Grey's creator Shonda Rhimes about getting out of her contract 18 months early in order to spend more time with her family.

"I started a family and it changed everything for me," she says. "It changed my desire to work full-time."

The 31-year-old actress recently took a three-month family leave from Grey's to be with her husband Josh Kelley and their newly-adopted daughter, Naleigh. Heigl was originally scheduled to return for the final five episodes of the season, but that now isn't the case.

"I know I'm disappointing the fans," she says. "I just had to make a choice. I hope I made the right one."
